The idea behind Journal on the Green Antiques & Arts was first conceived by Dwayne Boutwell in 2015. Dwayne has always had a passion for collecting, restoration, and bargain hunting. For Paige, a seasoned antique shopper, ease of access and presentation were always very important. Dwayne and Paige wanted to create an environment that combined all of the things they valued in their own consumer experiences, and thus the idea of Journal on the Green Antiques& Arts was born.
Their concept was simple: to provide a local venue for antique vendors offering a wide selection of re-purposed or gently worn quality merchandise in a spacious and organized showroom at reasonable prices. Named for the intersection on which it sits, Journal on the Green Antiques & Arts opened its doors to the Augusta, GA area in February of 2016.
Since then, it has quickly expanded to include art, handmade jewelry, and other handmade gift vendors. Journal on the Green Antiques & Arts is also the only local authorized dealer for Dixie Belle Mineral Paint, great for use in projects of any kind – especially restoration. Stop in today
